Good morning everybody, and welcome to the first Friday of the new year! Expect a similar day to yesterday with a high of 40 degrees and plentiful sun after a freezing start to the day.
If you have any plans for Friday night, you’ll be lookin’ good; just bundle up, as it will be another cold night!
Looking ahead to the weekend, and we have a storm to deal with. Clouds roll in tomorrow morning with temps in the 30s/near 40 with precip getting underway around 3 p.m. Thankfully, it looks like there’s only a brief window of frozen precip in our northern ‘burbs before everything changes to rain late Saturday night.
Spots in Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, and Sussex counties could pick up a quick 1-2 inches of snow with some sleet and freezing rain mixed in. Everything changes…
