SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) – The city of Southfield has launched a new app for Android and Apple devices with information for residents, visitors and those who work in the community.
A committee of city personnel worked for the past several months to develop the Spot Southfield app for Apple and Android smart phones and tablets.
“We are excited to offer the community a convenient new tool to stay connected to Southfield,” commented City Administrator Fred Zorn, in a release. “This new app will provide a wealth of information to users about the City and all its attractions, restaurants, shopping and more.”
The city of 71,000 residents, which swells to a daytime population of 175,000, has 774 acres of parks land and 27 million square feet of office space.
